Data Deletion Policy

As part of our operations, Yefepere Technologies collects and processes certain types of information (such as name, telephone numbers, address etc.) of individuals to make them easily identifiable, which we, Yefepere Technologies, refer to as "Data Subject (s)".

Maintaining the Data Subject’s trust and confidence requires that Data Subjects do not suffer negative consequences/effects as a result of providing Yefepere Technologies with their Personal Data. To this end, Yefepere Technologies is firmly committed to complying with applicable data protection laws, regulations, rules and principles to ensure security of Personal Data handled by the Company.


This page informs you of your right to request that your data be deleted and removed from Yefepere Technologies's database. This is in line with the laws and regulations of the Nigerian Data Protection Laws and Regulations 2020 which states that, " A data subject has the right to request the deletion and erasure of his or her personal data, subject to the provisions of the NDPR. Section 3.1(7)(h) and 3.1(9) of the NDPR.
At Yefepere Technologies, this request can be handled in several ways such as email, phone number, SMS or by filling a form on our website.

Kindly note that you have the right to request for data deletion under any of the following circumstances:

  • The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose which you originally collected or processed it for.
  • The personal data has been unlawfully used or processed.
  • The personal data needs to be deleted due to a legal obligation- in this case, the party will provide a legal document.
  • The personal data is not used in relation to business purposes.
  • Where there has been a breach or a cyber attack on either party's system.
  • You have processed the personal data to offer information society services to a child.

On any of these instances, once a request is made and has been approved, Yefepere Technologies will clear the data subject's personal information from our database, including our backup systems. In some instances, the request can be denied, especially in suspicious cases. For instance, when there are doubts about the identity of the person making the request.
